Our Story
Formed in 2009 by, and for, sailors in the Savannah, Georgia area the intention of the Chatham Sailing Club was to create an enhanced and well-rounded experience for sailors. Since its founding CSC has evolved into a thriving community for people of all ages and sailing ability with a passion for the sport. We provide the opportunity for members to participate in sailing activities year-round, including racing, cruising, social events, and sailing education.
Our clubhouse overlooks Turner’s Creek and offers a beautiful, quiet riverside location for club events and for members to gather and use under terms set forth by the CSC board.
Located at Young’s Marina, members receive a discounted rate for boat slips, as well.

We're a non-profit community
Chatham Sailing Club is a 100% volunteer-based organization. All membership dues go to the operational and promotional expenses determined by the board. We are here for the love of the sport and encourage all members to join in volunteer efforts to maintain the club and its activities and properties.

Our clubhouse
The main clubhouse is located on Turner’s Creek at Young’s Marina, Wilmington Island, GA. The marina provides easy access to the Wilmington River and the coastal waters of Georgia.
